Expert Talk on the Importance and Usage of DevOps in the IT Industry
The Department of AI & ML had organized an expert talk on 20th June, 2023 for the IV semester students on the topic “Importance and Usage of DevOps in IT industry. The guest speaker for the day was Prof. Venkatesh Prasad, Associate Professor, PES University. He emphasized the importance of collaboration , continuous communication, and DevOps principles such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and monitoring. The event also showcased the practical application of DevOps through pipelines and emphasized the benefits of implementing DevOps practices, including faster time-to-market, improved collaboration, enhanced quality, and scalability.
