Workshop on Age of Agents – Hands-on Session to Build Your Own AI Agent and MCP
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning successfully conducted a two-day workshop titled “Age of Agents: Hands-on Session to Build Your Own AI Agent and MCP” on July 9th and 10th, 2025. The sessions were led by Harsh Trivedi and Akhin.S were exclusively designed for the faculty members of the department.
The workshop provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of agentic AI systems and their underlying architectures, along with practical experience in building AI agents.
Participants explored the significance and industrial relevance of Model Context Protocols (MCPs), culminating in a hands-on activity to build an MCP server. The sessions successfully bridged theoretical concepts with real-world applications in modern AI frameworks.
