Siemens and New Horizon College of Engineering signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

On January 25, 2023, Siemens and New Horizon College of Engineering signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate across various academic and technological fronts. As part of this partnership, Siemens will offer student internships and project opportunities at its campus, providing hands-on experience in emerging technologies, along with potential stipends. Additionally, both parties will work together to co-create Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions by leveraging their combined expertise, infrastructure, and resources.
The MoU also emphasizes collaborative research, innovation, and faculty development. Siemens and the institution will jointly work on AI, ML, and IoT technologies by facilitating faculty training, enabling research and consultancy opportunities, and potentially launching industry-oriented academic programs. Furthermore, the partnership includes academic licensing of Siemens products, participation in knowledge-sharing events, and commitments from the institution to invest in and maintain the necessary software infrastructure to support these initiatives.
