Students Clinch First Place at National Hackathon Namma Suraksha 2.0

We are delighted to announce that a multidisciplinary student team led by Prasad Santosh Bant (II Year EEE), along with team members Aditya N H (II Year AIML), Adithya K (II Year AIML), and Abrakant Rout (II Year AIML), secured First Position at the prestigious national-level hackathon, Namma Suraksha 2.0, held at Presidency University from 28 to 30 April 2026 in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Bengaluru.

The team demonstrated exceptional innovation and problem-solving abilities while addressing the challenge statement, “Lack of Real-Time Intelligence Sharing and Low Fund Recovery,” under the Criminal Investigation theme. Their solution effectively tackled critical issues in intelligence coordination and financial crime investigation, earning widespread appreciation from the judging panel and emerging as the top entry among participating teams from across the country.

In recognition of their outstanding achievement, the team was awarded a cash prize of ₹30,000. This remarkable accomplishment reflects the students’ technical proficiency, creativity, teamwork, and dedication to developing innovative solutions for real-world challenges. Their success brings pride to the institution and serves as an inspiration for aspiring innovators and problem-solvers.
