We take pride in having the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (IEEE CIS), one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving technical societies under the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning of New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru actively contributes to promoting the initiatives of the IEEE CIS NHCE Student Branch Chapter [Geo Code: SBC66131M].

The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) focuses on the development and application of intelligent computational techniques such as neural networks, fuzzy systems, evolutionary computation, and machine learning. These technologies play a vital role in solving complex real-world problems and advancing modern intelligent systems.

The society supports knowledge sharing, research development, and professional growth among students and professionals. It also encourages innovation and collaboration in emerging technological domains.

The IEEE CIS NHCE Student Branch Chapter is dedicated to promoting the theoretical, practical, and interdisciplinary aspects of computational intelligence. This is achieved through workshops, seminars, technical events, and project-based activities that enhance students' technical and professional skills.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning envisages the following activities as immediate goals:
