Guest Talk on IBM Hackathon Global Challenge
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) organized a session on the IBM Hackathon Global Challenge on 30th September 2024. The guest speaker, Ms. Maria Joy, a Branding and Communications Strategy Specialist for IBM’s Call for Code, shared insights into the six different courses offered by IBM on Generative AI.
She also walked students through the hackathon registration process, timeline, and this year’s theme: Equitable Access—which focused on how Generative AI can enhance access to resources and opportunities for marginalized and vulnerable populations. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where students explored topics related to Generative AI and the hackathon challenge.
