I am grateful to have been a part of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning department at New Horizon College of Engineering. The well-structured curriculum provided me with a strong foundation in AI and ML while keeping us aligned with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies. The faculty members have always been supportive, approachable, and dedicated to helping students succeed by providing continuous guidance in academics, projects, and career development.
One of the most valuable opportunities I received through the department was participating in an industry-academia collaboration project with Nokia. Working on a real-world problem helped me strengthen my technical skills, understand industry expectations, and gain practical exposure to applying AI and ML concepts beyond the classroom.
The department also encouraged us to participate in technical events, skill development programmes, and placement preparation activities, which played an important role in building my confidence and professional skills. I am thankful for the constant support and encouragement that contributed to my placement at EY.
