Guest Talk-International Relations Expedition
On December 6, 2024, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning hosted a guest talk titled “International Relations Expedition” featuring Dr Vishal Jayendra Parikh from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. The session, aimed at 7th-semester students, offered insights into digital transformation, career growth, and research. Dr Parikh explained the distinctions between digitization, digitalization, and digital transformation, highlighting Amazon’s strategic digital transformation. He shared his inspiring professional journey from a call centre executive to an academic leader, emphasizing perseverance, learning, and adaptability. His personal stories and approachable demeanour encouraged students to explore opportunities beyond their environment. The interactive session concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving a lasting impact on the audience and motivating them to pursue excellence.
