On 22nd August 2025, Shoailuddin, an alumnus of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (2021–2025 batch), delivered an insightful session titled “Empowering Analytics with OBIEE and Power BI”. The event was organised by the Department of AI & ML in association with the Alumni Association, NHCE. It was held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Altair Lab.

The session aimed to provide students with a clear understanding of modern Business Intelligence tools and their role in data analytics. Shoailuddin began by explaining the fundamentals of business intelligence and its growing importance in an AI-driven world. He highlighted how OBIEE enables enterprises to perform advanced data analysis and create interactive dashboards. He also discussed Power BI’s flexibility and real-time integration capabilities for dynamic insights.

Drawing from his experience as an AI Engineer at Conneqtion Group, he shared practical examples of BI tools in real-world projects. The talk emphasised how AI models and analytics platforms together drive strategic business decisions. Shoailuddin compared OBIEE and Power BI in terms of usability, scalability, and industry applications. He guided students on selecting the right tool for specific business needs.

The session also covered career opportunities in data analytics and business intelligence. He encouraged students to upskill in data visualization, SQL, and AI integration with BI tools. Shoailuddin stressed the importance of continuous learning and hands-on experience to remain competitive. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session where students clarified doubts on BI implementation, certifications, and industry use cases.
